8 months old & Christmas pictures!

Wow, 8 months has flown by! Our little baby is turning into a little "lady" way too fast! She has been crawling for about a month now, has 4 teeth with 2 more coming in, and she is babbling like there is no tomorrow. Her favorite thing to do is smile and show off her teeth. She scrunches up her nose while doing it. A new thing she is doing is pulling herself up. She will also walk while holding onto our fingers, that is her preferred way of moving. She hates it when you stop but boy that takes a toll on your back.
What a year 2007 was! We were very surprised with a pregnancy and very blessed with a healthy baby girl. Mackenzie is so amazing and is learning something new every day. One of her other favorite things to do is to walk by the den to see daddy and then give him a cheesy grin. Even if he's not in there when we walk by it, she will do it. It's so funny. Mackenzie's First Christmas

Normally I would be putting some pictures on here but my laptop got a virus, thanks to myspace.! So, I'm on my main computer and not able to upload pictures until the laptop is fixed.

Mac had a wonderful Christmas! It was fun to watch her play with the packages. She got some books, blocks, clothes, a tooth, and a cold. Poor thing is miserable! She also got a super cute monkey jack-in-the-box from Auntie Lisa. Uncle Jason put money toward her college education!! The only thing she didn't get was to see and meet her Grandparents from Virginia. Soon though hopefully! She loves to talk to them on the phone.

Look, I pulled myself up all by myself!! I surprised mommy when she walked in to check on me. I haven't done this before.

Such a big girl!

Oh my goodness time is going by so fast. Mac is almost 8 months, I just can't believe it. I was reminded of how little she use to be (wait, she still is little!) as I was going through her newborn clothes. Every time I look at her I am reminded of what a blessing we have here. Mackenzie has been repeating some of the sounds we're making like "buh", "da", "up", and "bah" and now she is waving! Not all the time, but she'll sit there at wave and kiss herself in the mirror. Her 3rd tooth has come in also. Can someone stop time and keep her little? Please????? We went grocery shopping today and she got to ride in the cart like a big girl, she loved it.
