Back online!

So I've been MIA from the blog for a little while, sorry! We moved almost a month ago now to be closer to Matt's work and closer to our friends. I now have a bit of a commute up to school and clinicals but I don't mind it. The new house is AMAZING! I love it. We still have a lot to unpack but seeing as though I started my 5th quarter of the nursing program a week after we moved in, I haven't had time to unpack a lot of stuff. We finally got our internet hooked up and then my laptop decided to go kaput. So, my new laptop is up and running and now I can blog again! I will take some pictures of the house and put them up so you can see. Mackenzie just loves it. She walks around the house saying "new house." It's cute.

Speaking of Mackenzie, can you believe she is going to be 2 years old at the end of next week? I can't believe it. It's crazy! What happened to my baby? She is such a big girl now! She is talking so well and trying to form sentences. She says "I'm a big girl." And, when I ask how old she is going to be, she replies with "2!" Her favorite things right now are The Wiggles, cheetos, apple juice, and running around in our new yard. She also will say "I love you too" when we tell her we love her. It's super cute. She's been a bit under the weather this week with a cold which means she's not sleeping much which in turn means I'm not sleeping much. I also figured out that keeping a night light in her room causes her not to sleep as well. Last night she actually pointed to it and said "no light." So I unplugged it and she slept just fine. Woke up a couple of times coughing but it was much easier to put her back to sleep than it has been the last few nights.

Pictures of the house and of course some of Kenzie coming soon!

  1. First things first, thanks for your comment! :)

Secondly - if you ever want a babysitter for MacKennzie I am there! He is adorable from what I have read about him. You make such a cute family!

Thurdly - I am a nursing student over in England. I have heard so many things that are different compared to your course. I qualify next June but I am over halfway through the course which makes me feel more at ease and more to look forward too!

I have A LOT of respect for thr student with children and bigger priorities than me. How you fit it all in is beyond me and I admire you for it!

Lastly, nice to 'meet' you. xxx.
